The Lime Kiln Gastropub

The Lime Kiln Gastropub in Julianstown has just opened its doors and is looking great! With Chef Rob Thompson on board it’s definitely going to be a winner! We wish the Macken and Carson families every success with their new venture. The summer months will see the opening of their bakery and food store with additional plans to provide a courtesy bus between the local villages in the evening which will be a great plus on a night out.

Newgrange Farm

Newgrange Farm re-opens this St Patrick’s weekend where you can make wonderful memories with the new born lambs and even get to feed them, sheer joy from Thomas!  The Redhouse family have a great Easter Festival lined up 4th, 5th and 6th April with Easter Egg Hunts and Goodies for all the children.

Tayto Park

Tayto Park are well under way with their €25 million expansion plan which includes a massive new roller coaster. The roller coaster will have a strong Irish mythological theme and will not only be Europe’s largest inverted wooden roller coaster, but also the ONLY one of its kind in Europe.

Work is being spearheaded by one of the world’s top roller coaster design companies and is due to open this summer, here is an artists impression….Artist impression of the new roller coaster at Tayto Park
