Our wonderful Cottages are now open again, after our enforced hibernation we are truly delighted to be able to share our unique haven with you again. We have made all the necessary preparation to ensure your comfort, security and peace of mind.

The world is truly a different place and we have all seen our lives change. It’s comforting to know that here at The Cottages we have always had the luxury of space and a stunning setting, a place in which to relax in gentle seclusion far from the madding crowd.

Book and stay with confidence

The welfare of our guests and our team is of the utmost importance. We would like to assure you that all the necessary measures are being taken on a daily basis without compromising any part of your cottage experience. Our commitment to guests includes full International safety training of all our staff. We have also put in place Master Cancel which gives you added assurance that your booking is safeguarded.

Meanwhile there has been lots of positive change with our wonderful 12K coastline now a Car Free environment to be enjoyed to it’s full potential.

The Cottages have all been refurbished and are looking resplendent inside and out and the gardens never looked better.

Contactless check-in

We now have contactless check-in for added re-assurance and are delighted to say you can still look forward to our wonderful (socially distanced) ‘Welcome’ together with our delicious home made scones. Here’s an introductory snippet of our check-in video.

Local Cafes and Restaurants

Our local cafes and restaurants have re-opened and have superbly adapted to the ‘new normal’, some like the wonderful Nan’s have re-opened Deli style, producing their delicious Menu and Yummy goodies ‘To Go’. The Lime Kiln Pantry Shop & Bakery is another wonderful source of Boyne Valley Produce and home cooked fare, so there’s definitely no need to cook… scrummy chowders, pies, quiches and super salads are available to enjoy in your cottage, at the beach, in the gardens or on a special picnic.

Boyne Valley Beauty

The beauty of the Boyne Valley has never been more appreciated for walks and outings.

Boyne Boats, Newgrange Farm, Dublin Zoo and Tayto Park are all providing fun days out for young and old alike. Our wonderful Castles and Parkland Demesnes like Malahide, Slane, Ardgillan and Trim Castle are all open to enjoy for walks and picnics. Bespoke guided tours are available at Historic beauty spots like Tara and Mellifont by Beautiful Meath. Guide Derek Smith is flexible with tours and guiding and is a fund of knowledge when it comes to Irish History, Myths and Legends.

2020 Photo Competition

We have extended our Photo Competition entry date to 30th January 2021.
